New Heart Update

Hello to all those who find themselves reading this update, we are praying that you are well and hope that you are continuing to grow in your knowledge, love and faith in Jesus Christ.

We look forward to the time where we will be able to come together, celebrate and worship as one community in one accord. Plans are currently in place to make our building COVID safe and ready for people to come together again where we seek God and His desired mission for our life.

We are excited to announce that we will partially reopening the New Heart building on August the 2nd.

What this means is that we will be reopening our doors for limited numbers of people to attend according to the COVID restrictions. It is important to note that this reopening will be for Prayer & Meditation as we have limitations on singing, seating and community mixing; it’s also crucial to know that Church online will still be continuing and both experiences will be the same.

To make reopening possible for us we are looking for an expression of interest form to be filled out; you can find that form by clicking the following link https://nwhe.art/cvdeoi . This allows us to see what potential numbers we would have and to plan accordingly with the possibility of extra services. More details will be announced through social media and message groups as to how you can be involved in our celebrations starting from August 2nd.

We held another Community Meeting this past week to discuss our reopening and to also make a decision on our current premise. As you would know from reading our previous updates our building’s lease ends in October this year. There are plenty of options for us but as things currently stand we would be unwise to continue with a lease due to strained finances.

From taking time to pray, converse and seek what God would have for us, it was decided within the Community Meeting this past week to give an opportunity for our New Heart Church community to raise a year in advance to cover our building costs.

So we are beginning a Building Fund where we will be seeking members of our community to pledge amounts that would add to $40,000. I believe that we are capable of reaching this goal and enabling some security for us and our Church as we come out of this Pandemic season and into a new season of serving and seeking after God. More details on how you can pledge will be shared this Sunday, so make sure you are watching and engage with us from 10am.

$40,000 is a lot of money, we understand and acknowledge that, but as God’s people and the community of New Heart if we can all pull together we can see God do amazing things. So are we up for the challenge? Do we believe that God wants to move and expand his own Kingdom through this decision?

Personally I am so grateful for the generosity of this Church, we have accomplished many things and we believe that, through God, we can accomplish so much more!

We are dreaming big! Dream with us!

‘Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans.’
